Cambridge English Writing Course 

Course Description:

This course is designed to elevate students’ writing skills through a structured approach using high-quality materials from Cambridge University Press. Participants will engage in a variety of writing exercises, focusing on different styles and genres, including essays, reports, and creative writing. 

Through guided practice and constructive feedback, students will learn to organize their thoughts, develop coherent arguments, and refine their grammar and punctuation. By the end of the course, students will have improved their writing proficiency and gained confidence in expressing their ideas clearly and effectively.

Course Outline:

  • Different text types (diary, journal, news article, letter, blog, argumentative essays, narrative writing etc.) 
  • Introduction 
  • Body paragraphs
  • Conclusion 
  • Embedding Evidence 
  • Transition words 
  • Capitalization and Punctuation 
  • Commonly confusing words

Age:

11+ (Students with different English levels will be placed in different classes) 

Class size:

2-5 students per class

Date:

July 21-August 20, 2025 

Tuesdays and Thursdays

Note: Dates and time can be moderated upon unanimous agreement from students in the same class. Nonetheless, the teacher has the final decision of the class schedule.

Time: 

19:00-19:50 pm ( 50 minutes per class, class time is based on China time) 

Tuition:

¥4200 CNY (10 classes in total)

Note: Prorated prices can be provided for students who join late.

Mode: 

Online via Tencent Meeting or Zoom based on students’ location. 

Promotion:

  • Students who sign up before June 30, 2025 will receive 5% off.
  • Two students signing up together can receive 10% off. 
  • Three students signing up together can receive 15% off.
